in reply to: Nock-right arrow flight? #11806
Troy Breeding wrote: [quote=msarcher]can someone please explain whats causing my arrow to fly nock right at release and flight? i bareshafted and thought everything was tuned. i sure dont remember this then they still stick where i’m aiming pretty much but i just noticed this crazy arrow flight. Im thinking form, but the more i analize it and try correcting it the worse it seems. Also seems to be worse the more i cant the bow. im just frustrated now. How will this affect penetration as well? Any reason other than form to cause this? Any suggestions appreciated!
If I’m looking at your avatar pic right you have your quiver on your left shoulder. Are you by chance left handed? If so tail right would mean weak spine.
Troy
No Troy i’m right handed. the opening to the quiver is at the bottom on my right side. (Safari Tuff quiver)
im shooting a 60@28 Chekmate, 300 CX Heritage shafts, 125gr Eclipse heads w/ 75gr brass inserts, 5″ lw feathers
anything?in reply to: How to deal with mosquitoes? #61995well, im considered southern for sure (Mississippi) and our entire bowseason near about is in the upper 70’s and 80’s and heck i think our state bird is the mosquito, Thermacell for sure is the ticket. i was skeptical at first but ive had deer right at the base of my tree on several occasions when it was on and no problem. Whomever invented that had to be from the south. Good luck.
in reply to: Curious about numbers of deer most shoot. #44862Here in Mississippi, you can shoot one buck per day not to exceed 3/year and 1 doe per day not to exceed 5/year. We have no tag system as of yet.

Not familiar with this product personally. Imagine they would work, especially on recurves. I have built /placed cushion/ pads on my recurves where the string slaps the limb and it made a significant difference in noise level.
ScoutScout, thanks for the reply
in reply to: The anser to all our problems! #29329OMG, you’ve got to be kidding. Dont they know all you need is the scent killing gum, Gum-O-Flage THats all i use, and i’m in awe of all the deer i see downwind thats running off like a bunch of scalded monkeys….

You wont be jealous come winter:lol:
Right now i think i might take it. Our heat index for the last two weeks here in Mississippi has been 105 to 110 degrees and our humidity around 75% or higher, a breeze here is like standing in front of a hair dryer.in reply to: A Day in the North Woods #16814That’s just amazing! in reply to: BowBlitz.com #16786Agree, wish Traditional Bowhunter Magazine had a show. I got so sick of all the hooplah that i dont even watch the sportsman channel anymore and had directv to cancel the outdoor channel as i was paying like $3 extra for it a month.

If you want to, you change yours by going to your original post and clicking edit. Then just change the title.
Took your advice! thanks
in reply to: Silencer Mystery…? #50916Thanks Steve!
in reply to: Fletching glue #35360I use the fletching tape and love it. Its super strong and no mess to deal with nor does it harden. To all his own, but i really dont think you would be disappointed in the tape. I was unsure at first how it would hold up but im pretty rough on arrows when stump shooting and its amazing how strong this stuff holds. Hope this helps.
