David Petersen wrote: …and my favorite, a geological formation whose name describes it perfectly: Molly’s Nipple in SE Utah. It’s on the maps!
I don’t dare attempt to confirm it by googling it here at work! 😆
Hopefully, Ty and I will have some good stories to share. Only a few more days until whitetail season begins. If not, we’ll make them up. 😆

I agree with the word on the street whole heartedly! He is definitely both.
in reply to: Lamination Separation #27180“The rest of the story”:
I talked to Steve, and he said it won’t hurt a thing to use it. He’ll fix it for me after season. He also did say I could repair it myself with Loctite 420. (I think it was 420. I don’t have my notes with me)
in reply to: CO last day elk hunt: a story of success #27139I read it on all on the edge of my seat….literally! Awesome hunting!
I do have a suggestion though: Stay away from Sure Death Creek! 😯

Well, you got one of three right…you are forever in my debt. 😆
in reply to: Need some help with arrows… #20354A 10 pound decrease should require an addition of approximately 75 grains of tip weight.

Did he say he would refinish the whole bow too? Or, otherwise, how does he protect the skins?
No, that’s just labor for installing the skins, which I’m sure also includes the sealing them. He gave me the impression he didn’t have any copperhead skins and it would be necessary to procure them myself.
Awesome job Duncan! Now we know who else we can send our bows to, to have skins put on. 😉
in reply to: Shrew Haven West #17153Great pic! Thanks for sharing.
in reply to: Caught him crossing this morning… #15861Very cool! I’m envious of yours AND Dave’s! 8)

😆 it’s “Da Yoopers”. I love that song.
in reply to: arrows "porpoising" #12575Usually porpoising is corrected by moving your nocking point. That’s my recommendation. There’s always more to a setup than just hard numbers. Sometimes you just have to experiment.
in reply to: What's your favorite bowhunting song? #11990David Petersen wrote: “Lips Like A Mazaratti,” Ted Nugent. 😛 sorry just kidding.
:lol: I laughed hysterically when I read that.
This is gonna sound funny, ironic, and convoluted considering what I’ve said about Nugent, but I’ve listened to it so many times over the years and it’s probably partially nostalgic, but mine is “Fred Bear” by Nugent.
I’m still laughing Dave! 😆
in reply to: Wood Arrows & Removing Nocks: Lesson Learned #11202Awesome, thanks guys. I’m glad I asked!
ABS Down-Under glove with the finger tips cut out. 😀
in reply to: Carbonated Clothing #8338Obviously, you’ve not done your homework. After all, carbonated drinks are good! It therefore stands to reason that carbonated clothing is good too. Basic math gets you there. Well that and a sprinkle of gullibility. Well, that plus a desparate longing for a quick fix. Well…add a complete disregard for logic…THEN you can see that it makes COMPLETE sense and you can see for yourself that the technology REALLY does work and you don’t have to take someone else’s word for it. 🙂
