the refuge you are refering to is probaly blackwaterwildlife refuge it starts in cambridge.
assateague island also comes into maryland almost to ocean city and they have a good population of sitka deer.
dorchester county is probaly still ur best bet fair amount of public land down there around the marsh

i have a friend here in delaware who is retired that hunts every morning and evening but by now he gets so burnout he comes within an hour in the mornings and doesnt get in the stand till the sun starts setting in the evenings.
being a farmer i dont hardly ever go this time of year.
                good luck to everybody

                        i agree with u completely.
i like to hunt with my recurve also but i will gun hunt some also.
i know a lot of good hunters that gun hunt for their own reasons but it is the person behind weapon whether it is a gun or compound or trad bow.

i agree with you i know some very good hunters that hunt compounds. their is very few trad shooters around here i agree it the person behind the bow not the bow that makes the hunter.

i’m in the same situation now with a family most of the deer me and my wife harvest go in our freezer we sometimes give a few away to friends each year.
we are allowed unlimited doe tags on private land.

we have the same issues here in delaware with crop damage and having to stay on top of taking does the state has set up walk in coolers at different locations for people to drop off deer to donate to people who want and need it
