I have hunted both rockies and rosies lots of times in lots of different places and I do think its harder to hunt rosies. Most of this is because of the forest they live in.

hey cg – most all strings have different size servings on them, but you could try sanding the inside of your nock real lightly just a little with a fine sand paper. 😀

my father is 82 years young and i am 47. i have hunted with him all of my life and he tells me stories of hunting when he was young. when we hunt togather i move a little slower and that just helps me and when we take a different trail we stay in touch via two way radio.he still walks on the treadmill for exercise and has never smoked.i just pray im flinging sticks in my 80s

thanks everyone.duncan i don’t eat them but i hear it’s good if done right, but i don’t know.i made some hats and socks but a blanket is a great idea m.maybe i could try that next.alot of hunters rate a yote top list because how hard it is to get a bow shot on one,i like to use mouth calls to get them close. like a gray fox pup or rabbit.

i once saw a fox too- it was one of the koolest things to watch. but here we have real problems with coyotes.they kill most all of the young and there is way to many.in the woods in the city even in the middle of down town.the population is out of control-they are very hard to hunt-one of the smartest most adaptive anamils of all.

when my father and i hunted the kaibab we used a large piece of leafy tank cover cut into two. you can get it at your local army serplus. i would strap it to my back pack and throw it out as needed to make a blind or hide. it’s cheap and fast and lets you move when and where you want. liteweight tent poles work if needed for sticks
