in reply to: What would you do???? #50857
It seems our friend WvSTICKMAN wants to be reassured more than anything else
You must face the truth Your boyer is not correct, if the problem is so important to him he would have to offer you a refund before anything else
let me tell you this :
When I buy something, if the seller is not a friend I do not bought anything if seller do not accept paypal
Never bad surprises this way
Good luck
in reply to: What would you do???? #46567A correct guy would propose to send your money back if a dead in his family made him out of correct work or respect delay
If his works stops with this regrettable event his has to send your money back and not to tell his life
Your problem with this buyer doesn’t smell very good ………………..
They are plenty very good bowyers to give you satisfaction this one is not clean
I do not see where problem is
Wooden shafts make pure trad arrows and are enoughf to hunt if shoots are 20 yards maxi
If you want fasts and very precise shoots on longs shoots
nothing better than carbon
They bury alu and relegate wood for only trad shooters, but if your bow has no fiber glass no carbon Only wood
you must only use wooden shafts
imagine a carbon bike with steel wheels and rubber tires !
If you have a ”modern” trad bow you ask yourself questions that have no real meaning
in reply to: Another Noisy Recurve #61915Thoses olds bows are like olds laydies……..
Lets try your bow by someone with no more than 28” draw lenght
If no result sent it to the trash 💡
in reply to: Carbon for Footing? #60513A friend of mine repairs the cracked rear side tubes with a carbon filament and glue
At the front side of arrow it is not as strong as aluminum
in reply to: Carbon for Footing? #60020gonna be too big Alu is very thin and is more resistant to shocks
If you got evreything needed why don’t you try by yourself
Could be kind for others:roll:

in reply to: Noisy Recurve #45606I make my ”cat whiskers” with2 inches of an old FF string
Works very well depending where you place it on the string ( as any silencer )
It’ nice looking price zero, and I have it on my recurve for 1 year Stronger than anything else
4 inches moleskine glued on limbs where string is in contact with limbs
And if of course your brace height is good you’ll have a very quiet bow
Nothing works if brace height not perfect
in reply to: Bear hair rest won't stay on bow.. #34787Barge cement is veri good glue, but agressive, forget varnish on what you use it
Neoprene do not burn varnish can be remove without spoor ( trac)
