Roger all your last – I agree a lot of people worry too much about nada — shoot arrows and enjoy the day afield . I have been known to shoot a competition with ” my” style, legal or no, just for the experience – shooting under pressure etc. I just took the penalty or accepted being out of the money. When egos permitted.
Having had a kidney stone ( some of the worst pain I have experienced and it takes too long to go away!) I comesirate and wish you a fast pass —
One of the finest pain killers I have known was administered to me in the hospital when I had it. Wish I could remember what it was ? But they didn’t let me go home with it haha—— modern health protocols!?#!
I hope it goes thru soonest —-

Excellent effective MOD. I am working on one myself at the moment . The bow Quiver ( wrap type )will completely cover my tuff/meatheads but I was overzealous in sheathing the broadhead, and the point touched the inside of the thread at the top, cutting it. I am going to put a thicker leather pad at the top to stop the point coming thru and restitch it.

I would be interested, as I am starting to build my own leather goods. Seeing how a past master of the art goes about it, is always beneficial. Your projects seem very practical to me and nicely executed. So — you have at least one student wanting to be enlightened.

Good to see you here, and back in the traditional Archery pursuit.
Sounds like your career is going strong and eventful. The big guns are fun to run and an art form in their own way —–good luck in your endeavors there.
Looking forward to hearing of your adventures

Sounds like you are off to a good start on the approaching season back east.
The scrub oaks at my house aren’t showing many acorns this year. But, it was a weird spring out here in the Southwest. I have some quail wandering about, but the hatch was small for my area.
Looking forward to the fall — starting to amp up my practice. I need to refurbish my backyard range/ “field course”

in reply to: My tab is noisy? #132980Skinner biscuit
Been a long time since I tried shooting with just bare fingers. As I recall it was hard on the digits! Although I can see where it could be quiet, and possibly more accurate, if you were tuff enuff. Interesting experiment. I am not sure I could take the finger pinch of my short bows for long —
Anybody else out there shoot bare fingered.
I also remember trying in my youth ( a while back – haha) those rubber finger tabs that you could put on the serving. Don’t recall much about them. Except I went back to a glove.

Bows on the little Delta is excellent. I think there are still a few copies left available from the family. – Northwest Archery

You are very welcome. If you order some arrows let us know( here on the forums) how it all turns out. Send pics if you go for an exotic configuration – haha

in reply to: Arrow Designer #132882Good morning Mr Mills
Most custom arrow builders will let you pick the colors ( if available) for all the portions of the arrow you mention. Wether they would build one first and show you a picture – would be something you would need to ask that builder. I saw a custom arrow site called allwoodarrows.com , that showed a heck of a lot of combinations that might be what your looking for. Haven’t used them, so can’t vouch for their work – pics look really nice
