in reply to: Broadhead Targets #33579I keep an eye out for old 3D targets that have been thrown out. I then shoot at the head or rear end areas which will still stop a razorhead

in reply to: Back vs. Bow Quivers #26895I made my own back quiver and prefer that over a bow quiver. For looks and weight on bow. I have thought about trying a side quiver for easier access to arrows
in reply to: Deer hearing #26893I have sometimes made noise that seemed loud and they never seemed to notice. I also have whispered to my daaughter with deer out front of us with no reaction. But click a carbon arrow oncee off of the side of a bow (I don’t want to talk about it) and watch them turn inside out
in reply to: first trad kill with selfbow #26891Good job. Thats a tough target
I know I hunted a smaller piece ofland that was select cut.The first two years was awesome. Now the briers and such are so thick and high that it is near impossible to hunt. I think the strips will be good this year, but the clear cut areas are all sand, so might be a few years before much besides briers grows.
in reply to: More wildlife pics #24934Nice
Good job8) I was bowfishing at night with a lantern, but since switching to day shift I can’t stay up that late:?
You would know if you had bigheads because they destroy a fishery. They will leap way out of the water on hearing the boat and people have been seriously hurt by them -
