I started archery in 1960 hunting rabbits.
I still shoot the same Bear Grizzly in 50# @ 28″ I brought new in 1964. Still have some hand built arrows from those years with original Bear razor heads. I enjoyed hunting pheasants on the wing and made my daily limit of 2 per day many times from the 1960s through the early 2000s. I still shoot 4-5 days a week with a 40# target recurve on my property, no sights using a 3 finger split. Roving and flight shooting is fun. Fred Bear was my hero when I was in the 8th grade and even today.
I have enjoyed Traditional Bowhunter Magagzine over the years, brings back many great memories
