in reply to: What bow to buy #52748
I’m not sure where you live but lots of time there are local bowyers who make great bows but their names are unknown. You may ck with local clubs which can be hard to find or even try to attend shows such as trout unlimited or the turkey federation – may sound funny but lots of trad shooters are trout and turkey folks

in reply to: To sleep, perchance to … sleep? #42028DP I also use a thermarest inflatable but a few years ago I started using a thermarest z lot sol and it seems to work good and is real light for packing – When boating we use pocho (spelling) pads and for car camping they are big inflatable pads used to sit on when in the raft and sleep on in camp – they are real spendy

I live in a area that has tons of public land but with the attitude of don’t tell me what I can and can’t do . Everybody just wants to drive and throw garbage and tear everything up – it’s bad you know – I belong to several clubs and I try to keep tabs of where the meetings are and then I have to travel but when I get there it is a relieve to be around like thinking folks.Take note of what folks like Smith and others have said and I wish you the best.
in reply to: Southwest DIY Javelina Hunts? #24247I just had friends that worked at the mine so I had a pickup and guides – That Bagdad area is nice and no people – the road systems are really rough – we had a Sazuki side kick when we drove and then we just pound the desert and did a ton of glassing
