                  I do the “drag an arrow perpendicular”, the barefoot dance and just plain comin back later with fresh eyes….some arrows are just meant for the “Arrow Gods” though 😀

                    i bought a “package” of camo yarn about three years ago, have a lifetime supply of silencer material. About ten wraps around four fingers. I have beaver on a couple bows, looks nice but cant say it works any better in my experiance

                      no rest should harm the fletch IF nock point is correct and correct arrows are used. An arrow should NOT run down the rest or shelf upon release.

                      I shoot a terry rest and plunger occasionally on my warf
                      NEET pro rest on a couple recurves and a Bear weather rest on a couple others. Most i shoot off the shelf

                          just because others partake, does not mean you have to. Dont worry about what BillyBob hunts with, how he hunts or what he chooses to shoot. Do your own thing.

                          as for the hounds…you wont get support from me, I grew up a coonhunter, rabbit hunter. just because its not your cup o tea, dont judge others for marching to a different drummer.

                              your own p will out perform anything you buy. The last few years I have urinated in scrapes then hung a cam…results are eye opening to say the least. Ive done the same with commercial doe p and in heat p…bucks disappeared. My p, they fight for a chabnce to add their own, along with every squirrel,rabbit,yote,fox and coon that comes by.

                                  as a general rule I have found longer bows 58 and up go around 7-7 1/2, shorter bows add a bout an inch, shorties in the 48″ range add a bit more..8 1/2 to as much as 9
