in reply to: Help with Tip of the Week #39049
Okay. Plan B. Send me two usable tips and if I can shoot/get images for them I’ll give you the hat. Fair enough?

LOL! I really am racking my brain for real ones. I requires a rather large lever though. When you are done racking your brain you will need a new hat. Keep thinking! 😀
in reply to: Help with Tip of the Week #32290The tips are meant for everyone. Some of the more experienced hunters may already know these things, but you never know when it will be something useful that you can use.
There have been lots of great ideas and helpful hints posted here on the forums. I would be happy to use some of those, and I have in the past. Send me a PM or email with your post and I’ll see if we can make it work. Thanks.
in reply to: Help with Tip of the Week #31600I will be forced to publish useless tips if I don’t come up with something soon. 😆 (Some would argue we’ve already done that!) 8)
in reply to: OJAM VI Dates Set #62596Thanks, Dennis. I have added this to the calendar too. Is there a web site or contact for more information?
Posting events in the forum is great, but they get lost in the other posts. Anyone interested in posting an event (shoots, banquets, classes, etc.) on the calendar (it’s free) can use this link.
in reply to: Whitetail-turkey smorgasbord video #57115Another great video, Chris. I want you to come to Idaho and do chores 😆 My kids never moved that fast!
in reply to: Pheasant Arrows #54758Hi Joey. Sorry, I guess I missed this post. 😆
No, all issues are not online. Premium Members have access to the two most current issues and all the sold out issues. If Dec/Jan 08 is available in print it is not available in digital format. I just don’t have enough Web Queen Mojo to scan every page of 90 some odd issues. 😯
Premium Members do get a 10% discount on back issues and everything else in the shopping cart when you purchase online. On the main page, hit that Premium Member discount button before any shopping.
I’m looking forward to Nashville. We’ll see you there.
in reply to: CUSTOM BOW #46271Hey Oldsalt. Sorry for the delay. I am not sure but we think it might be Cassius Styles but we would have to see the bow. Can you post a picture? If not, please email me a picture and I can post it. Maybe someone can identify it by that.
in reply to: Traditional events #36015Hi Bill. Here are a few of the dates that I know of. The Traditional Expo in Kalamazoo, MI is January 29-31, 2010. For more information contact Great Northern Bowhunting. The Compton Rendezvous is June 18-20, 2010 and their website is http://www.comptontraditional.com. I believe Cloverdale is the weekend before Compton but I don’t have contact information for that one. Also watch for the Western States Rendezvous. I’m not sure where it is this year, but it’s around Memorial Day Weekend.
The next issue (Feb/Mar 2010) will have a lot of the club shoots and I will post them in the Calendar on this site when I have them. Anyone that knows of an upcoming traditional event can submit a calendar event using this form.
in reply to: Pheasant Arrows #26943Hi joebuck. I think the article you are looking for is in the Dec/Jan 08 issue, called The Ultimate Upland Bird Head. If you don’t have that issue it should be available as a back issue. If you are a Premium Member, be sure to use that button for 10% discount.
I am always happy to look this stuff up, but you are subject to my crazy work hours 😆 If you want an Index file (Excel format) where you can look up every issue, all members can down load it here.

2008 Update Iin reply to: Posting Pictures in the Forums #21340I agree!:D It is much easier to post your photos in the Photo Galleries on this site. I am open to anyone that has an easier way to do this, or to explain it.

in reply to: Hello to all–just signed up #19466Hi Nick! Welcome to the site. What took ya so long?:D
For those of you that don’t know, Nick is the Compton Education Coordinator who puts all those bows, tabs and various other traditional archery gear into the hands of kids all over the country. Thanks for all your hard work too.
in reply to: What ever happened to Doc? Ashby health update #15852Thanks for the update, Dave. We all wish him a speedy recovery. If anyone wants to send a card or letter, we will forward them on, but it has to say “Dr. Ashby” so we don’t open it. 😀
