in reply to: Catskills base camp fun! #60468awesome looking camp there in the catskills, looks like no bugs in the night picture like usual for that area.
I have also seen elk who got used to one water hole, that when it goes dry they would still visit that waterhole before heading down the valley to the full watering hole. They would paw at the dry dirt and eat some of the grass around if before heading down to the full waterhole. Just a little food for thought that if they find a waterhole they like they keep using it.
in reply to: We may be experiencing some turbulence… #34021Smithy nice shooting there in the wind do you shoot the same short range in the cold wind of winter. I like to do that at the nearby outdoor range gets me used to all the elements.
I like the others do a good job of eating healthy. However i do not avoid gluten just generally find a local bakery near me that still makes there in the old European style of being healthy and not have a gluten problem. The thing I get the most benefit from is avoiding eating when I ma so hungry I just plow through food, so if I recognize I am doing that I try to slow down and take smaller bites and chew thoroughly this lead me to not eating so much.
in reply to: New bow to show off! #21449Did he cut to center for the EFOC or did you have it cut past center and then build out the strikeplate. Really like the style and the wood combinations with that stippling.
