I have no idea what I meant by that…really! 😆

I was short on time and was typing fast and furiously and I didn’t review it. 😳

My bow is a 59# Elkheart and my draw length is 29″. My arrows are spined 80-84, 21/64″ diameter (I have 11/32″ shafts of the same spine as well). I use 145 grain points.

My bow seems quiter, not the arrows.

I’m assuming the rest of your questions are rhetorical. 😆

Now that I’ve been shooting woodies for a while, here’s my two cents worth (that accounts for inflation):

I buy and shoot mine full length. Sound accordingly, of course.

They’re quieter than all other arrows.

I will never be able to go back to carbon, aluminum, etc. I just love shooting wood arrows.

I never forgot this suggestion, and just this last Saturday, I picked up one of two copies sitting on the book shelf at Jay’s Sporting Goods I had been eye balling every time I’d stop by. I absolutely love it…great book!

Not the greatest photo quality, but here’s a pic from tonight’s setup…a bit unorthodox, but it worked well.

Very nice. That grip is sweet! Is it leather?

I forgot to mention that I used steel wool between each coat of stain and lacquer.

Wow! We have a few coyotes around here, but not enough to worry about leaving a deer overnight.

I use Eclipse broadheads. To sharpen them, I use the Arrow Grabber to secure the arrow and broadhead and sharpen it with a file, and then finish it off with a leather strop.

I can’t last very long, literally sitting in the ground. I love my Hammock Seat.

I wear a 36″ inseam and I bought the First Lite Kanab pant, and it’s definitely long enough. I intentionally purchased a large because they’re longer. Plus it allows me to bulk up underneath when I need more warmth. I love them!

I went from using tape to Duco and seem to prefer Duco, but I suppose it does depend on the stain and sealant combo used with it. Correction, my SON uses Duco, as he’s now the official family fletcher. 🙂
