in reply to: First Piggy #15046Way to go Steve, sounds and looks like it was a great trip
in reply to: Ancient Edges #15044Dave you’re right, it would be as romantic as you could get. Just a shame my wife has a different version of romance 🙄
in reply to: Went primitive today #15038Thanks for the cane info. And lovely leather work too – are there no ends to you talents?!? 😀
in reply to: Back Quivers, let's see em… #15029T4H that’s a beautiful quiver and I love the attached skinning knife. Nice photos too, especially the lighting in the first one 8)
in reply to: Less of Dave Petersen, please! #12699Dave who???
in reply to: Went primitive today #12687Lovely work Tailfeather, hope all that local spirit and craft brings successful hunting. Can you inform an out-of-towner what plant you get the cane from for those arrows. Looks almost like bamboo? I believe Jay Massey was a big fan.
in reply to: Well Placed Shot #12665A “killing shot” or “shot in the kill zone” probably doesn’t sound as palatable to our non-hunting brethren ❓
in reply to: what bow now? #12659Welcome to the trad world. I’ll second Prowler on the Samick and the light limbs to start. I started out with 30lb limbs and it was best thing I ever did as form is the foundation on which all trad shooting is based. Picked up 45lb limbs cheap and I’m currently shooting those. Hope to move on to a custom bow over the next couple of years once I have the money and my ability can justify it.
in reply to: Santa came! New JMA Elkheart #60164Best of luck with that beauty Dave. Keep us posted as I know you will…
in reply to: Few Trail Cam Pictures #48055Superb Bucky, great pics 8)
in reply to: Christmas Card #48047Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year to everyone here at Tradbow and to all your family and friends. Let’s hope our arrows fly true in 2013 ➡
in reply to: Anyone ever use these heads? #35906Fortunately Dave Finland does have legal bowhunting. It’s somewhere I’m thinking of trying for a bowhunting holiday. I spent a bit of time in Sweden as a student and loved the Scandinavian people and country. Welcome Sebastian!
in reply to: Trimming tab #35903Great tips as always Arne. Your advice on keeping the draw hand wrist bent outwards saved me no end of trouble in keeping the arrow tight to the riser. So simple yet so effective. Thanks!
in reply to: Blackbeard Bound! #30070Wow looks like a fantastic place Etter and that’s one pretty looking deer too 8)
