A guy in my winter league had some arrows made of Hex Pine they looked to be quite durable and for him they shot well, I would like to try some myself they had good durability to them as he hit the wood around our targets a few times and he never broke one! I believe the company is out of Canada, and there is a vendor that has them in the states!

I get bored w static targets too, get some judo pointed arrows or Flu Flu arrows and go stump shooting! Then everything in the woods or yard can become a target! Plastic milk jugs, tennis balls almost anything! In the woods it could be a mound of dirt, stump, clump of leaves etc! Whats nice is that all the shots are spontaneous and no 2 are ever the same!

The make is a Little Chopper and the cut is called Traditional, it is alot lot like the Medival type arrows they get a lot of Heilical to them and they slantback real sharp, you have to locate them allittle farther down the shaft because of the drastic angle at the back! I shot them today in high wind at 3D targets they stabilize real well and shot great!
