It could help by making the arrow heavier so you can shoot a broadhead that weighs less so spine becomes stiffer.

They use the short vanes because of the high speed of the carbon arrows. The big vanes make noise and are not needed for the lighter arrows. The big broadheads do control the arrow and the reason for the open on impact broadhead.

in reply to: where to get a shaft shooter #10665I just watched a video about this. The guy drilled a hole the size he wanted in a piece of wood the mounted a sawblade on the edge of the hole. He then put the dowel or length of wood into a drill and feed it into the hole.

Upload the picture to photobucket and resize it there.
The arrow falling of the rest could be squeezing the string and arrow to much or to deep, try 3 under, not so deep when placing fingers on string or cant the bow.
