Good questions Michael, The Steel Force Traditional broadheads are 145 grains with the insert and are left bevel.

      The Grizzlies are Right bevel.

Wishing everyone a beautiful day !!

Thanks Steve, your count is absolutely correct, but I added three single bevel Steel Force Traditional single bevel with the Grizzlies so it brings the total up to 13 broadheads to give away.

Great idea Steve, I will have three draws then, the first draw would receive 5 grizzlies, the second winner would receive 5 grizzlies and the third winner would receive three steel force traditional.

I forgot to add the picture..

Its an absolutely beautiful morning here, a great start to a great day.

Thank you for your reply Steve, if there are 6 people let’s say that ask to be included in the broadhead draw then I will be adding the six names in the hat and drawing one of these six names.

How many times did I go through my broadhead box asking myself, ” What could I do with these “. For sure I could sell them but why not give them away to someone else that can use them and enjoy them as much as I did when I first bought them.

The traditional bowhunting family is a wonderful one and it has given me so much over the years, this is only a small gesture that allows me to give something back to a group of fabulous folks.

Guys, I’m really overwhelmed with the wealth of information on this site, it almost seems too gentlemen like, however with that being said, here is a story that kind of fits with the folks of this forum.

I was at a wedding a number of years ago, a good friend of mine had his oldest daughter getting married. Since he was a traditional bowhunter and had been for many years, there was a number of us at the wedding diner and reception.

Well, as the bride and groom were entering the diner hall, I seen my good friend point to the table and its only then I noticed that they had forgotten to put the wine out onn the tables. As I looked around, all of the traditional bowhunter got up at the same time, and in no time at all, all of the wine was on the table and my friend just smiled and shook his head. During his speech, he basically said the same thing 🙂

Its only during the later part of the dance, we all got together and laughed, all thinking about how we all think alike.

A great bunch of honourable men, never to busy to help each other out, selflessness being the biggest quality. Now that is how I see the good folks on this site and that’s all I have to say !!!

            🙂

Hi David, this is a picture my wife took of the hole a single bevel Ashby broadhead did going through a block of 3/4″ Kempas wood, it blew right through rotating in a left manner ( left helical ) cutting a big hole perpendicular to the wood grain. And like I mentioned before, i took that same broadhead and shaved the hair on my arm, it blew me away.

Just got in Steve and I backed up at 4 yards ready to shoot. I did lower my nock a bit and after watching my form, I punched a nice hole through the paper. I repeated this same shot twice and got two very nice holes.

I am now very happy with my set up, however now I am wondering why we need to stand 6 feet behind the paper to paper tune, but I must assume that is with a compound bow.

What is important is that my arrow is now flying well, thank you for your help 🙂

My favorite broadhead used to be the Silverflame 210 grain because of its razor sharp edgeness and its durability but today I found another broadhead that simply blew the Silverflame out of the water.

The Ashby broadhead from Alaska Bowhunting Supply, simply amazing.

You have to see it to believe it, that’s all there is to it.

                      Great site !
