in reply to: pop-up ground blinds #37129
This is the Ameristep Doghouse blind, and it works with a recurve but doubt longbow use in it.
And here it is set up in one of my deer trail areas along the river.
in reply to: Oh where, oh where have the Moose all gone… #37118About the same here to, as my last elk hunting trip out all my son in law and I found were bear, mountain lion and wolf tracks.

I’m Thankful for my son and daughter and the ones they married. I’m thankful for my granddaughters for they are truely a gift from God. I’m Thankful for my ability to still draw a traditional bow.
I am Thankful for all of you here at TBM, for the great forum and magazine that is put out for what we do, and believe in, and love.

in reply to: Photos from Cook Inlet Archers Turkey Shoot #32827That looked like it was loads of fun, nothing going here in NW Montana for 3D shoots right now.
in reply to: Robin Hood Prince of Thieves on BBC #32466It really was great to see a movie with longbows in it, very few are made any more with the exception of a couple that I just got.
in reply to: strung- unstrung #31146All my vintage Bear’s are unstrung as I’m not shooting them everyday. My vintage Ben Pearson LB and Selfbow are unstrung as they also do not get shot a lot. But my 09 Samick Spikeman 50# recurve is always strung, as it gets shot almost daily
in reply to: My neck of the woods. #29476Very nice indeed, love the area your showing.
in reply to: I love my classic Bear bows! #29475coyote220, you have some great bows there on your walls, I wish I had room on my walls to display mine. We also use the same Zwickey Eskimo broadheads.
in reply to: I love my classic Bear bows! #27432I love your picture there, and congrats on the fine kill with your Kodiak Hunter. What poundage Hunter is pictured there, and what broadheads did you use BTW.
I have 3 Bear vintage recurves
All from early 70’s
Super Kodiak Grayling 55#, Kodiak Hunter 35#. Kodiak Magnum 45#
The Super Kodiak will be used next year for hunting with I believe, as it is still a super nice shooting bow.in reply to: Bearspaw/WesWallace #26236I may be looking at a new custom bow this next year, and Bears Paw Bows is at the top of the list simply because I can go to Neil’s shop and try one of his bows. The same with Schafer Silvertip and Tokel bows.
in reply to: I picked a team today… #25827Don’t feel bad, I know the temptation would be there as my son keeps the Mathews Drenalin here that I gave him… yes its temptation but I leave it alone.
BTW – Congrats on making the switch over.
