I have to get me a quality bowie knife. I have one now, but its not quality steel, but its a heavy weight that will also limb branches if I need to.

Well I decided to go with just a Boonie Hat of plain Khaki Ripstop by Route 66 at Kmart for just $7.00 on clearance. Will be just perfect for our Bowhunting Season weather here, or any place else for that matter.

The 145 gr screw in field tips are only .25 cents each, isn’t this much cheaper way to go? I have many of these that are on some 2117’s at present.

I got plenty of collie dander from the yearly molting that she goes thru, but I’m using fox fur at the moment.

I used to have to wear these while making stone counter tops, and regardless of the outside temps, your feet swet badly. Not real good in weather that is hot, and your scent will still get out.

For the last two years, I hunted with guy’s just like that where they were not what they said they were. It is sad, when you hunt elk or any animal for that matter, and when they arrive to hunt with you….. they hunt their way.

Last year the guy I was hunting with, had to use the gravel roads, and being that he was heavy he also did not know how to stalk quietly, even off the roads he was noisy in his walking.

This year I will either have a very quiet traditional bowhunter with me, or be hunting by my self and just carry my SPOT locater to summon help after I get something down.

Seems to be a Ben Pearson as many where left this way, and the limb decals are gone.
