Gonzo Man is great with the guitar but not so much with the personality. 😉

It has been mentioned that the HH bow is forgiving and stable. I have a Bear Montana as part of my collection of bows and just wondered if it was a similar feel.

The only thing I can add is that there is a distinct “thunk” feeling when shoot. As you can see in the pic my grip is old school straight and quite narrow. But I am told that a learning curve is needed in how to properly grip it to cut down on that feeling. As far as it shoots it is just as accurate for me as my other bows from the start. I can also see the arrow flight much better with my hill bow as apposed to my other wider limb bows.

I saw Portland and I thought Maine. My geography was a mere 2000 miles off…:lol:

Never been but someday would love to visit.

Evening is when I seem to see more deer but for me I can’t seem to get up for a morning hunt. 😆

Squirrels can be tough little guys to harvest but I too have had good luck with both the hammer and the G5 talons.

                        Dave:
That program is what I have been telling people as they ask about my five fingers. It took me a month to really get used to them and now after about 3months with them I prefer them to shoes. I almost always hike with them and feel less fatigue afterward and more sure on my feet. I do plan to hunt in them this season and have walked up on many a deer and fox with them this summer. I am quiet as a church mouse. I have also swam in them in the river and lake in WV on vacation with great results. Some people say that they smell after awhile but so far mine do not and that maybe due to the leather ones that I choose but not sure.
These are the ones I choose: KSO Trek

Well I finally was able to get a pair and choose the Kangaroo leather uppers and they are brown in color. I have only had them a week so far so not much to report that hasn’t already been so far. The thing I have notices so far is that I am sore from muscles that I have not used in awhile or ever it seems. Also you are quiet as a church mouse in them and great for quiet walking. I haven’t had the smell factor that others are talking about so maybe it is the leather as opposed to the other material. Time will tell. I have been shooting in them and it is a nice zen like experience. 😆

Well so far I like that it is super easy to move from place to place. The only thing you must do is practice shooting from it as you have to learn how not to sway as you take a shot. Also it is very important to have a stead fast top perch as this is where yo will make all of your stealthy maneuvers and be able to shoot from 360 degrees. No success yet but only been out twice. 😳

Still being new to the art of hunting I find myself very mindful of a miss hit while hunting. I have had a few times had a deer broadside of me at 20yrs or so and been unable to loose an arrow. It just didn’t feel right, I don’t have time to recover and process or I just thought I would miss. It is a situation that I some times struggle with and all the negative what ifs. On the way home however I always second guess myself and wish I would have shot most times. I do hunt mostly all urban settings so the pressure of a good hit is always there. My question is do these ever go away and do many of you struggle like this? I have a hunch that many of the missed shots kinda develop from this on the fence decision to take the shot or not. 💡
