WOJo and Brennan just heard that Potomac state forest 3 d course opens Sat. So you guys need to plan a trip down.
30+ turkey in field about 1/2 mile down the road this morning. Opening day is the 18th.
Those reviews are priceless:lol:
Mike,
We will defiantly hit that course this year!
As for the turkey, Get me on that property!!! I can be down the week after!?? Our turkey opener is not until May 2nd.:x
Our opening day of trout is the 18th of April. My daughter and I camp out and fish opening day the last 2 years. Kind of a tradition.I want to enjoy the outdoors with her before she gets in her teens and does not think I am cool anymore!
I mean it, Is there anywhere we could hunt!? I will get a tag!8)
in reply to: Value of Reviews #35786That is a good one!
Mike is on the team, but he better start showing up for the events or the coach will bench him!:D
in reply to: The Bow that Surprised You #35590I am relatively new to trad, but over the last year I shot a bizillion bows. Long and recurve. I always go back to my Striker Stinger TDL. It is a r/d long bow with a pretty defined locator grip. I love shooting longbows most of all, but the flat grip hill style do not agree with me. I like locator types better.
I love my Striker! I have a new one on order!

in reply to: Spring shoot #30221Mike, we are tricking you. We are both using orange wraps and feathers. The best way to tell us a part is Brennan’s using wood colored arrows. Mine are just black shafts.
And yes, Brennan is still drilling every shot!:x
Lake weather is coming fast, We should be starting our weekend trips soon. But first…turkey season!
No, not shooting the elkheart. I shoot the Striker way better. No plans on getting rid of it tho.8)

Comes from my old ways of hunting. So I am always interested on what people use and if the items are quility. But I value the side of less is more and I try to follow that philosophy, if not very well.
And Mike leaving the gun at home is much easier said then done!!!
Thanks for keeping the brain working.
Well said Brennan.
As always, thanks for keeping me on my toes!8)
in reply to: Spring shoot #30180I was a brisk 18 deg this morning, but we did not stop moving. It was actually very pleasant! Thank for the great company again Brennan! Its my turn to come up your way and do some roving in the gamelands!8)
