in reply to: Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Rendezvous #15760
I will be there saturday. Passing through on a little road trip vacation. 😀
in reply to: Washington Elk… #54289I live in Washington. I’ve only been hunting for 4 year and never have hunted elk on the westside of the state.
Theres plenty of elk on the peninsula. A lot of the land over there is timber company land but there are some small patches of National Forest land. I would look around Lake Quinault. I go fishing around Forks and always see elk but i don’t know about accessibilty to land around there. I would say your right on the money about the SW, Willapa Hills area. Another place i would look at is near Randle,WA. A co-worker hunts down there and gets an elk every year. Hope that helps.
in reply to: ghost grizzlies DP #14025I also liked that wolverine documentary.I really cant get enough of the Natgeo shows. But another show on netflix i liked was 180degrees south.
in reply to: PBS and Portland in March? #9809I’m just making sure, but do you have to be an PBS member to go to this banquet? I may only be able to make it saturday but i would like to go to some of the seminars and the dinner+auction.
in reply to: Are we forgetting our roots? #20465Yup those were the ones. Well hopefully he appreciates them. I’m relatively new to traditional bowhunting. And the history still amazes me the more i learn about it.
in reply to: Are we forgetting our roots? #14842Maybe due to the economy it’s harder for most people to collect items. I know that i saw some bear broadheads on craigslist a coupe weeks ago(possibly yours since i live in Tacoma) but i didn’t have the money at the time to get them.
