Good evaluation, Ireland. I have been taking your advice about practicing with all my hunting clothes on. Made a difference. Still looking to harvest a deer.

Did buy on product and tested it at my home where I knew the habits of the deer around us very well. It really scared them away and I did not see them for days. It was an artificial product.

Make sure you are measuring the bow length correctly. With recurves you need the tape measure to follow along the curves and measure from string nock to string nock. With my 62 inch bow a 57″ string works better for me than the 58″ length.

Look in the search for bare shaft tuning.

I use a 40# @ 28″ recurve. I shoot with a draw length about 29″ which is about 43 lbs. I have an arrow set up that gives me 30% UEFOC. MY maximum range is 17 yards. This set up may work for you also. Good Hunting.

I used a small piece of rolled up velcro. It has some give to it which I think helps.

You must have had the camera with you. I would have never been fast enough. I would stare at the moose and think of the camera after he was gone. Great shot.

Thanks Patrick. I just looked out my window and saw a four pointer with two does walking in the woods next to my house.:D

“thirdy point buck” by the Uppers. Not sure how to spell Uppers but it is pronounced Yewpers as people from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan are called.
