This is great. I don’t think there are many hunting forums where book choices are discussed.

          Refreshing!:D

I love these kinds of posts. I truly enjoy seeing the country folks hunt as much as the critters.

            Gorgeous, wild country.

This was my 3rd issue as a subscriber. I must say, fantastic job, especially on this issue. I love my subscription.

Almost cruel though, that cover photo…..as we swelter in the midst of an unusually brutal summer.8)

Thanks, Smith. $70 is a great price….is that from a local shop? I thought the ones I was seeing were upwards of $130.

*Edit: Just found some on Amazon for that price (and your review:D). Thanks.

Sound advice, fellas. Much appreciated. I looked into just the blank Helle blades…..I can get the one I want for a little over $20 bucks. That’s incredible.

The antlers from my first buck would make a really nice and meaningful knife handle. Think that’s the way I’ll go.

                              Thanks again.

That’s a shame…..Pinedale is a great little town. I haven’t been there in several years, but it was always the supply point for forays up into the Wind Rivers.

I’ve worked in both states and traveled extensively in each. I love them both! The variety of game along the east slope of the Bighorns is fantastic. Not a real restricted area, either. Big game, gamebirds, etc…..

Somewhere around Dayton, Buffalo, Sheridan, etc. would suit me just fine.
