I wonder how much of that is a hold-over mentality from older bows and older methods of stringing/unstringing them. Seems to me that when using a stringer properly, on a quality-built modern bow, the chance of damaging the bow is very slim.

I guess my question would be, “what’s the point of leaving a bow strung when you’re not using it?” It only takes a few seconds to string/unstring a bow.

Due to a heavy winter (over 200% of normal snow) that carried well into spring, a lot of animals seem to have been born late in my area. I’ve been seeing lots of very young deer, antelope, grouse, etc – far too young for this late in the summer. I’m hoping fall will be fairly mild or I think that yearling mortality is going to be pretty high this year.

14 days for me. Feels a little surreal, since it seems like our summer just got going about a month ago. Hard to believe that elk will be bugling in a couple weeks.

Still sharpening and need to fine tune. Decided to step up a 225gr. point in order to bump my FOC to just shy of 21%.

If you look at the 4th pic w/ the interior shot – just above the pockets there is a another large zippered pocket for a hydration bladder. The tube runs out of the black neoprene flap on the top of the pack.

Using Firefox 5.0.1 on a Mac. It’s not all the time for me by any means, but it seems like I do see the little “image failed to load” Photobucket icon more than from some other hosting sites.

Are there image size parameters on this BB that might limit the ability to link to huge images that haven’t been resized?

Any particular reason for encouraging Photobucket over other hosting sites?

No extended hiking yet, but I’ve loaded it up and done some short hikes with it. It rides just fine. Plenty of padding on the back too.

It’s very adjustable – in fact, I have most of the straps cranked down in order to get it to ride correctly (and I might eventually cut a lot of the excess strapage off). I’m 5’10” and 170lbs. It could easily accommodate someone much bigger.

p.s. – it comes in several camo patterns. But good luck finding it in the “Predator” pattern. I looked everywhere online, because I didn’t want Mossy Advantage Super Duper X (which seemed to be all that was available), and couldn’t find it. Finally found one in Predator at a local shop. Only one they had.
