Welcome, this is a great place to acquire and learn new information. I do not post very often, but I like to read all the topics posted to improve my hunting and tuning of my bows.

Hello everyone, checking in from Onalaska, WA. I have been shooting traditional since 1995. Yes it is addicting. I have been married 35 years, two daugthers and two grandaughters. I also am a Christian and love our Saviour. My favorite place to hunt is North Idaho, where I grew up chasing whitetails. I enjoy the camp fire forum, it is full of useful information from fellow archers and hunters as yourself. Look forward to reading the forum every chance i get.

This is my first post, I purchased a dozen pre-stained cedar shafts from 3-Rivers Archery and fletched then with 5 1/2″ feathers. I shoot them out of my 46 lb Whip longbow and my 53 lb Blackwidow PL11 Longbow. Arrows were spined at 50 to 55 lbs. Cut lenght was 28 1/2″ and I installed 160 grain field points. They shoot like darts. Three Rivers was outstanding to deal with. I love cedar shafts and they are quite durable.
