I have a Blackwidow PMA II. It is a very tough and durable bow. They are not the most expencive bow by far. They are worth what you pay for. You get a good company that will back up their product. I do not know if the silvertip is a better bow. I have no experience with it. I would buy another BW if I needed to replace the one I have. I would not say this about the many bows that I have owned before this one.

I shoot 44# @ 30″. Draw length has alot to do with penatration. However 55# will do the job.

Tracker I have no idea what your needs are. I will assume that you need a glue on and I will recomend a zwickey or a magnus. If you need a screw on there are a lot to chose from but again a magnus stinger is a good screw in head. also a muzzy phantom is a good head. These are good heads to start with and later you may find something that pleases you more.

I have some longbows. They seem to stay on the wall. I shoot the recurve better and feel more comfortable hunting with it.

I agree with the quality of the zwickey. I must say that I prefer the STOS.It was the greater weight choices that made me go to it. I find that on my 30.5 inch arrows that 145 to 160 grain heads make the arrows more stable. If zwickey made a 160 grain delta i would shoot it. But I must tell you that those stos are bad to the bone.

Well for me it was call modern archery. Lamminated recurves were the thing to have. Yes 49 years ago I was a 5year old kid with a fiberglas herters bow following my dad through the woods. I was really bad on those armadillos. I think archery is still a great sport.
