40+ mph winds here today. The deer will be brushed up in the canyons and draws and nearly impossible to spot much less get on to. Besides even if I shoot in winds a lot I will not shoot at a deer in gusty winds. Too many “if” factors involved for me.

Supposed to be somewhat still and in the upper 30’s in the morning. I know where there are a couple + 🙂 sunny slopes coming out of the draws that some mulies may be appearing on to enjoy the warm sun. I’ll be there watching.

Actually I can do dishes quite well. My attitude in boot camp saw to that a couple of times. Some lesson are never forgotten. Attitude and the definition of clean

Open a can of Dinty Moore beef stew, dump in a can of pork and beans, heat til it bubbles……………..Beats the hell out of C-Rations (when I was in the Corps, it was C-rations and M-14’s 😉 ) Dang it’s been a long time since I got out, 1972, whoa!

The no drinking part? Well I ain’t changing that. Somebody’s gotta be the referee!!!!!

Draggin’ deer! If I get that big muley down, I’ll holler and I’ll cook backstraps when we’re done:D

Now Doc, I seen your pic. They’re right!!!:wink: Especially after a bee sting to the head. 😀

I guarantee that not every deer is taken with a 50% EFOC out of a 70# bow. Most are killed by people accurately shooting a bow weight that they’re comfortable with and straight shooting sharp broadheads.

So get as good as you can get with what ya got and go hunting.

If it feels uncomfortable, don’t shoot it.

Like Doc says, with years and ailments the poundage has come down but in all actually it should’ve never been as high as it was with me. I have some bad habits created from over bowing. Many others do also.

Practice, practice, practice and by all means don’t fret too much on what others are doing, or say they’re doing.

Another reference to Doc and the WWW, you read on some other sites and you wonder why anybody makes 2nd or 3rd place trophies. Everyone is the best.

Anyway, just get as good as you can get and by all means, don’t over think it. 😀
