The beauty of spray poly. If it is poly you use as I do. A bit of work with really fine sandpaper or some steel wool, spray and let dry.

Just think, if sloths were predators they’d be undetectable until the pounce :D. Might be a thought to another thread on here.

Just some info I found that I thought was interesting to go along with this thread. Being careful, common sense, knowledge of our surroundings and sometimes just plain dumb luck are all that keeps us out of trouble.

For each person killed by a black bear attack there are 13 people killed by snakes, 17 by spiders, 45 by dogs, 120 by bees, 150 by tornadoes, 374 by lightning, and 60,000 by humans.”

My Jo-Jan multi fletcher is as old as dirt and still works great for me. I’ve been able to fletch any type or size of shaft so I see no sense in changing for my business.

Pods, full of seeds, from a type of yucca called “bear grass” around here. They burst, seeds fly, cool noise, excellent stump shooting fodder. Mule deer eat them in winter also.

The show pointed out that some of the Native North Americans on the upper west coast prefer them to salmon. I don’t drink anymore but that might be a case of throwing the meat away and drinking the wine. 😀 Those things bout as appetizing to me as skunk or worse. I’d rather eat crow as I’m pretty used to that. 😆

We eat what we need, share with friends and I always take burger meat when we bow dudes go on tourney trips or whatever. Always we plan to leave about 1/3 to give to the local feed the hungry and homeless group.
