1) Changed pt weight from 125 to 190 gr
2) Added 2nd nock locator with 1/16 space (I guess I didn’t realize how much I was pinching the nock)
3) put a thicker leather rest w/a toothpick underneath

You are correct — the bow is cut to center.
I’ve tried a variety of point weights — from 125 to 190 gr. Seems like the 190 gr shoot a little better.
I just wasn’t sure if it was a clearance issue or not.
Well, I guess I’ll just have to buy a new bow (!!) or give these arrows away (ha!)
