in reply to: Spot and Stalk Black Bear Tips Please #15823
I have no advice to offer (more precisely, useful advice), but welcome to the forum, and happy hunting!

I’m cool with that. 🙂
in reply to: Aluminums by Tru-Flite??? #15742Completely different company. Easton merely made arrows for Tru-Flite to sell under the Tru-Flite name brand. Similar to 3Rivers’ relationship with their “Traditional Only” arrows and the arrow manufacturer (I don’t recall which arrows they are, and I’m too lazy to look right now).
in reply to: BRACE HT. HELP #15732From what I can gather, it seems that the consensus is between 7.5 – 8.5 inches, but that’s not written in stone (or even pencil for that matter).

Heck yeah! It’s available in practically every color!
Thanks for letting us know about how this worked for ya. Good info!
in reply to: Hunting Hats for 2010 #15535I’m sure I’ll be wearing one of my Traditional Bowhunter ball caps every now and then while hunting as well.

8) More details!!! Who’s the maker?
This reminds me, if anyone is interested in a 7 5/8″ Akubra Syndey, I don’t wear it anymore….let me know. It just collects dust. You’ll need to shape it some, but it’s very easy as it’s soft felt.
in reply to: Target "Boredom" #14722Ditto! I get mentally lazy and sloppy when I’m shooting the same target from the same spot over and over. I find that when I’m shooting with a bunch of arrows I don’t conentrate as well either.

That’s what I figured based on the color. I’ve still not seen a sturgeon, although we have them here in Michigan. Very cool
in reply to: Aluminums by Tru-Flite??? #12697I don’t know how long they were made, but I remember that the aluminum was as soft as butter. Not good.
in reply to: Aluminums by Tru-Flite??? #12439Are they a light colored “camo”? It seems I remember them from way back when.
in reply to: My biggest fish #12437With the high res setting on my work pc, the pic is too small, what kind of fish is it?
in reply to: whats everyone favorite BOW ? #12424Well, my favorite is the one I have: 64″ Northern Mist Baraga 🙂
in reply to: Doug Borland Article #11321Kyle Lancaster wrote: I re-read “A Thousand Campfires” by Jay Massey this weekend. Among several stories it told of the original trip to the Brooks Range by Jay and Doug. If anyone would like to borrow my book. Drop me a line with your address and I’ll send it out.
Take care,
KyleConsidering the monetary value of that book, that’s a mighty generous offer!
