Whenever you feel best is what I say. Don’t push it if you don’t have to and you may enjoy it more.

in reply to: CALIFORNIA DREAMING #45993Those are Rackasauruses! I want one!
in reply to: Would you shoot a bedded animal? #45989I have with a traditional muzzleloader a couple times. May take longer with the bow! Again, as long as the angle was good I’m letting loose. I would love to take an old pillow and blanket out in the woods and then show some little kid a bucks bed:lol:
in reply to: Sloooow Start, but Great Evening #39406I bumped a coyote off his nap yesterday going in. Beyond that, bushels of squirrels! Not much deer sign to get excited about around me. That said, I haven’t traumatized the squirrels in years, but you know what, the old .22 is getting a dusting off. Once the main gun season is over, I’m going to put one or two in a stir fry and see if I don’t get addicted:lol: Happy hunting all!
in reply to: November Rovin' #37486Heck, I’m not going out in that crap when I can just watch you:lol:
in reply to: Caught with my pants down… #32444Always enjoy the stories you have down there in upside down land:lol: How big do your piggies get down there?
in reply to: Totally Traditional #32440It’s personal. Once I commit, I rarely ever look back. Been that way with the trad thing and I have no regrets. But then, I’m not much of a “must have success” guy anymore, but OK with that. Not that you can’t with trad gear, it’s just another level of commitment.

Don’t think I’d have any believers though. 😥
I like the idea! Dress up like a bowhunter with a foam deer dragging by a rope behind you as you trick or treat:lol:
in reply to: Trad Look? #29221aaah bugs! She rolled over on me in the pic up there:?
in reply to: Trad Look? #29215Here’s my “Heidi Klum with a string” hanging out in a Yooper (Michigans’ UP) tree. Maybe she ain’t as pretty as some, but long and lean she is. I’m really enjoying being a woods bum with a bow and camera more and more.
in reply to: Trad Look? #29209Alex – I haven’t but will check it out. Thanks.
I’m so grateful to be able to hunt and enjoy it all. I’m hoping in my drooling years to get some sense of my youth back, right out the back door for my hunts! That’d jazz me right back up:lol: It’s all good!
