Seems to me, many LARGE, or central organizations lose touch with their mission and members look again for someone more closely aligned with their passions. That said, many of these organizations tend to work hand in hand on big issues, which seems to satisfy more, and in the end, shows larger support for the issues important to all of us.

Jim, I have a GFA quiver and like it. Adjustable strap, lightweight to carry, easy to use with or without a pack. I also have a Safari Arrowmaster that I really like. It has straps with clips at the ends so it can be easily taken off and hung on trees/branches while stand hunting. Can be hooked to a belt loop to keep it from moving much (never been an issue for me) and it has a nice pocket and raincover for the fletches.

I prefer the Grizzly Kodiak single bevel 2 blade broadheads. Mount easily, fly great. Very close to the 3:1 length to weight ratio and a proven design.

Winter is wonderful! It puts the snakes to sleep, it covers up the dead of autumn while preparing for the life of spring, icefishing, and keeps the scorpions and unwanted visitors away!

If you wanted something in between you could have the grip checkered or stemppled.

Very neat picture. I don’t spend enough time around elk, but even so, it seems to be a rare occurrence for elk? I’ve seen several whitetails here in Michigan like that, and one in Ohio. Always felt it was good luck to see one, and our regulations allow them to be taken, so….

I’m not sure if this is any help, but I have a longcoat made from an elk I shot in 1994. It has the hair on, and is still in excellent condition. The thing is warm, but also very heavy. I imagine a buffalo robe would be even warmer and heavier.

I like the Arrow Dynamics carbon shafts. Black Light. Made in U.S.A. and have a tapered design that helps build in FOC. Good luck.

Fight the best fight. Don’t give up. Throw some low punches if you have to, hell, hit the bastard in the zipper. Best to you and yours.

Two Tracks String Scallops-weigh about 7 grains. The natural felted wool sheds water for awhile and doesn’t pick up burrs. Really easy to set-up, work great (in my experience) and they look great.:)

The umbrella blind worked well for me. Easy enough to set-up. Usually though, if I needed it during bow season I didn’t feel like shooting anything in that weather. If I knew the storm was passing though it worked out well. Can be used as a ground blind in a pinch too. I agree with Doc about the bottom settling in those chairs. Makes it tough to move/shift when you need to for the shot.

My wife is in the kitchen helping clean and package the meat. Her Father was a butcher and meat inspector. She doesn’t care to work on fish much but really lends a hand when it is time to get to work on deer or elk. Now if I could just get her to quit cooking the venison too long.:)

Cardinals, woodpeckers, chickadees, squirrels, and those darn bluejays. My favorite is the robin at dusk. Seems to be the magic hour during our deer season, which is only 44 days away!

What about the Woody Weights for adding/changing the point weight on wood shafts?
