Always a pleasure to see your walks in pictures and words. Thanks for posting. We had a warm up here, got up in high 30s. Had to do some work and some shoveling, so it’s nice to see somebody got out! Dwc
in reply to: Hunting in the heat! #46542This is an interesting thread for me. I’m in Eastern PA and only minutes from a vehicle on any given hunt. I always wonder how folks handle a kill when it’s a real hump to get it somewhere cool and safe from being scarfed up by animals. Thanks, dwc
in reply to: What ya got goin? #45647I wish you enough and not too much. Stay dry when it’s all wet! Dc
in reply to: What ya got goin? #45555R2, thanks for the well wishes. I don’t have tons of snow like lots of folks, just about 14 inches on the ground. It’s colder here than usual, even for February. 72 degrees would cause a flood here. I did get out snowshoeing with a friend today for a few hours. It was nice to be in the woods. More snow coming tomorrow and more single digit and below for the next week or so, except for a peak above freezing on Sunday.
Enjoy your sunshine. best, dwc

Now that you crossed that bridge, might we see more? Good for you to hit that send. best, dwc
in reply to: Shooting the Sage #40188From one old guy to another, thanks for the review. One of these might be in order as my kids grow out of their Pilgrims. Thanks, dwc

in reply to: aluminum arrows #33365When I was shooting Al out of my Wasp 45#, I shot 2016s with 175 gr points and they flew very nicely. I bet you could start with that shaft and your points and get a good tune. I got most of mine on the auction when many folks were trading for carbon. I could get odd lots for pretty cheap. Have fun. in reply to: Lars Andersen–a great Dane! #29289Steve, That last part is probably easy. Spend less time outside, shooting, hunting, stumping, squirrel watching, and more time on the internet. Being forty millionth is probably a really good thing… dwc
in reply to: Lars Andersen–a great Dane! #29275It just keeps getting better. Love it. thanks, d
in reply to: Lars Andersen–a great Dane! #28889That’s a well rounded log you threw on. When I first watched one of Lars’ videos I just thought this is fun and didn’t take it too seriously. When the naysayers started, I thought they had lost their senses of humor. However, the guy did stick his chin out and therefore invited the resulting commentary, which seems a lot more thought out. Thanks for posting this last one Smithy. One of the things I like best is the figures in the background. Ain’t it a kick. dwc
