      😳

The Amish aren’t really about the nice slow day. They’re about their faith in God and living life with their eyes set on Him. They reject modern conveniences because those speed up life into a whirlwind and it’s easy to lose sight of God and Neighbor when that happens.

Perhaps you’re right about that “grain” though: “Be still, & know that I am God” when we’re out in the woods just might be God pulling us toward life lived as He intended, focused on the things that matter.

I have also been pulling the bow back alittle farther back then I typically do and the arrows seem to fly alittle better.

I would have to say your arrows are still too heavily spined. (It got better when you pulled back more – this increases the affective draw weight for your bow, because you’re drawing it farther.) Keep going up in point weight and your groups should continue to group further to the right until you are on the money. Good luck, and do keep at it! It’s a very good feeling when you get it right!

Thank you so much! These promise to be pretty comfy. One for me, one for Toby. (‘Cause if Dad has one, he’s gonna “need” one too, don’tcha know?)

The seat is based on a design that was in Field & Stream or Outdoor Life, can’t remember which but my Uncle showed it to me in the 70’s and we built some of them. If made carefully the 2 sections will nest for transport. I’ll put up some pics with measurements for those who might want to make one.

Thank you – I’ll be looking for it. Can’t wait to have an option that is comfortable while waiting for a deer. Those folding canvas camp stools always seem to cut into my legs in the wrong spot and my leg goes to sleep! (And my 6 year-old son would probably hold still more if he was comfy, too.)

Very nice quiver! The seat caught my eye, too. How is that put together? Looks comfortable. Is it a folding seat, and moveable from tree to tree?
