in reply to: Blood Trails #32695
I am with you guys. I have seen very little blood when trailing the two elk I have shot. I am think about switching to a Simmons or a three blade. I should probably leave well enough alone though. It worked both times

in reply to: 36" wool pants #46582Great thanks Patrick!
in reply to: Animas River Toxic Release #13015It certainly is a bummer. I would not let this change your mind about moving here though. I have lived here my entire life and calling the animas gold medal waters has always been a bit of a stretch. I have fished gold metal waters and I would say that the majority of the animas, with the exception of tribal land south of Durango is not gold metal. The animas through town mostly now is polluted by drunk tubers and rafting companies. You can hardly even fish it there are so many people. Anyway hopefully the river will recover with time.

in reply to: Duiker quiver #58669Skifrk,
do you remember which type of foam it was exactly. There are so many kinds. I am just trying to not spend money on shipping. There is a Joanns nearby.
Thanks Doug
in reply to: Duiker quiver #58664Thanks guys I will check it out.
in reply to: Duiker quiver #57538Got a used duiker. Came in the mail yesterday. I need to replace the foam with something thicker. My bh’s are to long and my arrow is super long as well. I need more of the head in the foam to keep the long arrow from rattling. Home Depot?

in reply to: Turkey Arras #56527You shoot chickens! Thats awesome! I just change my head from a grizzly to a muzzy phantom. Pretty darn close to the same weight just a little more cutting surface with the bleeders. My brain would not appreciate me changing my entire setup.

in reply to: Fight the fat-cat land grabbers #56168Thanks Dave!
in reply to: Finicky tuners? #54541I think certain bows just have certain things that don’t work for them. My elkheart is very forgving but if I put a plastic tip protector on the lower limb it shoots low. It makes it quieter but I swear it shoots low. Weird.
in reply to: Duiker quiver #52880That’s awesome. Thanks for showing. I got one used but I will share with some friends who are looking at the side quiver option.

in reply to: Duiker quiver #48939Thanks for all the input. I will start saving the scratch for one.
in reply to: Duiker quiver #48377Steve,
That would be great. I would like to see how you attach my it to your day pack. In the mean time I think I will start saving and pick one up asap. I think I would like it strapped to my pack as well. It seems like there would be no chance of it getting in the way when you shoot if it is attached to your pack. Can you shoot with it when its just slung over your shouoder like Smithhammer shows.
