Truly amazing!!! this is only fueling my desire to hunt in Europe while being stationed in Germany! I want to attmept hunting Afica but the future Mrs wont let me due to the danger/disease/crime she reads about. there is nothing wrong with dreaming……some dreams will become reality:D

I find a lot of my friends feel like they have to go get the newest items to take game. Myself on the other hand, i dont feel like spending that much money on a shirt when im perfectly comfortable using what the military has given me such as BDU’s/DCU’s. They are perfectly good working clothes that just arent being worn by the military (well atleast the Air Force). With how hard the economy is i cant afford to just go blow money on a pair of pants and shirt when i could be spending it on hunting or camping equipment that is truly needed. If im not content with the pattern that i have, i can change the pattern without having to worry about ruining a good pair of clothes. This is a really good thread. im learning a lot!!!

            There is also Colorado.
I went on a elk hunt last year for my mid tour while stationed in Korea and a buddy of mine ran into a 6ft black bear while we were hunting in area 80/81. we didnt know it but my friend mike sat in a giant berry patch and the bear sat down eating berries about 12ft away. you will have a main logging road and you do see ohv trails but they were off limits for hunters. so everywhere you need to go will be hiking. There wasnt alot of hunters there either and the bowhunters we ran into were real friendly and not afraid to tell you what they saw and where! Elk is over the counter for archery and i believe bear is too! Mule deer is by draw though. saw a lot of bear signs but my friend was the only one to run into him. thought this might help. i recommend this area!

The only glass i even have access to is the bottom of non-alcoholic beer bottles. and thank you for acknowledging my service and you are welcome! im just trying to be versatile with archery and not be stuck to the commercial side of it. i guess self-reliant. thanks for the posts. i greatly appreciate it:D
