I like the Great Plains bows. They’re all based off bingams projects plans which are proven performers that have been around awhile. The fit and finish is first class.

The quickest bow I’ve seen lately would be a Bigfoot Sasquatch static recurve. He’s getting over 200 fps at 10 grns per pound at 28″. Some of the tests are posted on TG. Most Ilf type limbs I’ve seen tested are in the low 190’s at those specs. Second quickest could be a Eaglewing static recurve or a Whippenstik Inferno recurve. Some hybrids can be quick but these recurves are tops.

The best t/d bow quiver after trying everything is the great northern. I like to use the safari tuff back quiver for lightweight 1 piece bows.

I’ve shot both and would go with the Muzzy. The blocky ferrule lock on the Steelforce impedes penetration. They do come very sharp from the factory though. I have gotten a pass through on a buck with a Muzzy phantom out of a 45# longbow, they’re a really good head.

Measure the bow from the fadeout area of the riser on the belly towards the string. My guess is it will be 1/4″ or less on the bottom limb. The bow is not right as having one limb considerably stiffer than the other will throw the timing of the limbs off. The limbs need to unload at the same time and rate.
