I second that idea!!!
in reply to: Treestands #60547I use the summit viper. I replaced the seat with a net seat to lighten a little. I also put a hip belt and shoulder straps from a molle pack on it as well. It is a very stable and packable stand. I have used api, lone wolf, and others. For me the viper is the safest, easiest to use and comfortable. Good luck
in reply to: Broadheads For Wood Arrows #30756Great information John, thanks for sharing. Have you ready Dr. Ashby’s reports that are posted on the this site? There are many more factors for penetration then broadhead design. Although that is a big one. Sounds like you have a great set up best of luck this fall!!
Be safe,
Brennan

This was our union break on the top of the mountain!!!
Getting arrows again. We all shared in the climb for arrows. Man Jason we needed your legs too!!!
The iron deer claimed Mike’s arrow. Last one on the right!!
Day one we did about six miles
Day two about six miles as well.
Web Mom’s stand in was great!!! Great to see you again Carrie.
Hard to see but Mike got my arrow in flight.
in reply to: Camo Face Paint #49374I use this and it comes off very easily for me.
in reply to: Best target #36982I have tried many targets. I get the best use out of these…
Morrell Yellow Jacket field
point target.
I get them at Wal-Mart in the fall for around $40. I have been using one daily for a year and have been getting good results. Every month or so I lay it on the floor and jump on it to redistribute the filling. I also added a Glen dale buck and replaced the foam insert with a crossbow feild point target. That has been working great as well. I am saving the foam insert for broad head practice starting late this summer.
