Thanks guys! the grip is beaver fur, the tips and arrow shelf are from kudu horn and the back is prairie rattler from around Paul’s Montana home. It shoots great although I need to bring it to a self bow connaisseur to figure out if my top limb has warped a little and needs fixing. It is 60#@28 and I don’t let anything but wood or cane arrows touch my self bow!! 😀
It was a great day when I killed this doe with it, minutes before sunset on the last day of the ’05 season!! My first and only kill with the bow! I was shooting compressed and tapered cedar shafts with my favorite Zwickey eskimo b’head!

in reply to: Let me introduce myself #61101It is BHA. I assumed he meant Backcountry hunters. I don’t know 100%. Assumption, someone said, is the mom of all F***Ups! So it might be something else and I might have a big mouth! 😯

I’ve been hang’n out on the leatherwall for years, but recently I got a bit frustrated reading some posts that bashed the BCHA. I sent a PM to Smithhammer, and he suggested I come over here; so here I am.
I don’t know why I’ve never hung out here, I subscribed to TBM for all of my teens and early twenties, I guess I was just going through the stickbow.com motions.
Hi there and welcome to the forum!
If you don’t mind me asking, what is BCHA? And even if you do mind…what is BCHA? 😆

Not until I saw Gregg Coffey’s photo of you and him did I know for certain I had seen you walking around at the Expo, Alex. I thought maybe it was you, but wasn’t sure enough to say something.
Next time, Patrick. I had to leave Saturday instead of Sunday because I was afraid airlines were going to start their cancellation hysteria! 😀

trigger release, changing positive tiller! it’s getting a little too compoundish up in here!:shock::shock:
