Danny, I’m sure the GFA is worth the cash but what I did was take a Qwikee Quiver that was made as a bow quiver and modified it so it is now a GFA style quiver for alot less money. Something to think about if you don’t want to spend the money.

skinner, 45# is enough to take a whitetail. like it was said earlier as long as the arrow is tuned to the bow. i hunt with a vintage bear grizzly that is 58 inches long and 45#. i have it set up to shoot easton legacy 2016 arrows with 100 grain muzzy phantom broadheads. before i start to get tired and the groups spread out, i’m shooting 3 inch groups at 20 yards. hopes this helps with arrow selection for you. good luck.

i’m in agreement with montanaford. i use .38 brass for my small game blunts and have never had any problems. just keep your shots close.

i’ve never made a shooting glove or tab and never really thought about it till reading your post. i use one of the alaska bowhunting skookum shooting gloves and it is by far the best i’ve ever used. i think i’ll try and replicate it and let everyone know how it turns out.

it does depend on the kind of hunting you do along with surroundings. where i hunt in ohio a back quiver would catch on brush along with a hip quiver. and i also don’t care for the additional weight of a bow quiver. so i modified a quickee bow quiver into a GFA style and have had alot of success with it.
