in reply to: of wolves and elk – no debate please #18064
Fantastic footage Clay especially when viewed from my country where the last wolf was shot in 1786 🙁 It means we have great farming conditions but no truly wild country anymore.
in reply to: Down by the river… #39491It would usually be even greener by now Ralph but we’ve had a very cold spring so growth is at least two weeks behind. Makes for grumpy farmers but when are they any other way 😆
in reply to: England big Cats #38180Unfortunately it’s the only weekend that I had made any summer plans for – typical! But I can’t complain, I’ll be down in Cork at a gig with some mates.

Of course you can, we’ll be glad to give you brandy instead 😆
in reply to: England big Cats #27868Neighbouring colony – I love it! Mind you, there’s that many of us Paddys over there we nearly have colonised it 😆 BTW Mark, are you going to the BBA shoot in June?
in reply to: Stonehenge a giant blind? #27861in reply to: I just bought my first longbow. #27855It’s so annoying the way they keep moving when you’re trying to aim at them… What?! 😆
in reply to: New Bow in the house #27852Oh man, this place is giving me serious bow envy 😉
in reply to: sloppy release…help me… #27848Now that’s an offer that’s hard to refuse – now if only my bank manager would agree with me. For some reason she thinks repaying a mortgage is more important than chasing hogs around the lone star state with a stringed stick. I just don’t understand bank managers 🙄
in reply to: Robertson 'Quik Styk' Hybrid #27846I want one… 😳
in reply to: Stout Posts #20990Sure there’s eatin’ and drinkin’ in it Scout 😆
in reply to: sloppy release…help me… #20986Scout, I was talking about my reference to London way back when this post started – I was giving advice that if I could pull off myself would’ve meant a place on the Olympic archery team that was competing at the time. But anyway. There are quite a few O’Rourke’s around me, probably some long lost rellies!

Yea – I have been to London a number of times, have seen all I wanted to there. I doubt if Wexbow would stoop to go amongst the heathens [Londoners] haha. I would enjoy going to Ireland and having a whiskey with R2 and Wexbow at his favorite Pub —–
I was Having a release slump – Mr. Fred Asbell’s recent article in tradbow – reminded me deep hook/relaxed hand etc, and I immediately improved.

The London quote was in reference to the Olympics that were on at the time of this post. But it is a great city to visit. And anyone here is more than welcome to look me up for a whiskey – especially if they’re buying 😆
in reply to: Arrows (attempted build-along) #20037Wow Wolf, they are beautiful arrows! I like the colour combination used, visible but still natural looking. Thanks for sharing, appreciate the effort.
in reply to: Coaching app #20027No worries, just thought I was doing something stupid as I’m pretty new to the whole smartphone thing. In fact, I only use one cos my old phone finally packed in and a friend gave me her old one. They are pretty nifty but I just don’t like being “over connected” if you know what I mean 😕
