When a gifted bowyer and true hunter combine the results can but only be good 😀
in reply to: Whats your all time favorite TBM piece? #14597As a much more recent subscriber I’m far from knowledgeable and have only dipped my toe into the TBM back issues but I loved Set Free by Fred by Doug Humphreys in the Feb/Mar edition. Just the way the author captured the urge to be free really resonated with me. It’s the only article I got my non-hunting wife to read and she really enjoyed it too.

in reply to: My Kansas Hunt #14582Good hunting and a nice mount if no meat. Forgive the foreigner, but in Kansas I’m guessing it was coyotes??

in reply to: Bowhunting whitetail's video #8998Great job Chris especially seeing as it was all self shot. Love watching your videos here as you have a nice style and ethic to your work, keep it up! 8)

in reply to: My Membership Application… #63149Alex if you’re really, really unhappy with it you might as well send it to me 😛 She’s a beaut by the sounds of your shooting analogies.
in reply to: Wet Feathers #62192Fletch Dry works pretty well but not 100%, but nothing is unless you move to vanes and all that goes with it. I do keep a cheap polystyrene drawstring bag over my arrows in the quiver if it’s really pouring but that doesn’t help the arrow sitting on the string. But sure it hardly ever rains over here 😆 🙄 🙁
in reply to: First Archery Deer #62182😆 That expression is probably a bit eastern Atlantic alright, nations separated by a common tongue and all that!
