in reply to: Clay Hayes new book! #21878
Well done Clay, a great achievement!
in reply to: Don Thomas Spot On! #36029Same foodie movement is occurring over here in terms of hunting, fishing and home-rearing/growing. And I agree with Don, it’s good for supporting ethical hunting.
in reply to: Going Trad #30315Just entered on Facebook but I’ll be greedy and enter here too – I’d love to win Dave’s book 😀
in reply to: "The Untamed" – film #26015Great work Clay – respect!!!
in reply to: Backyard grizzly attack! #26012Ha, when I saw the bear running up I thought it was charging and I was expecting to have to look away as a brutal attack commenced 😯 😆 Then I got gentle Ben doing party tricks for treats, probably shunned by his wild brothers for selling out 😆
in reply to: video recommendations #23767A recommendation from here that I picked up was 700 miles in Alaska or something like that. Not bowhunting but a well shot trip that I really enjoyed.

Love the above line Ralph. Wisdom indeed.
in reply to: "The Untamed" – film #20275Clay, I presume you’ll be offering this for sale on dvd?? I will definitely purchase if so. Looks fantastic! 8)
in reply to: Some camping advice… #20260Thanks Alex, some handy tips there 😀
in reply to: "The Good Hunt" film trailer #19013Man I can’t wait to see this film. I hope, but doubt, it gets shown here in Ireland and gives some exposure to bowhunting and true hunting.
in reply to: Solo River Trip #19004Lovely landscape Tailfeather and looks like it was a great trip. I could only dream of pitching my tent without a fly over here 🙄
in reply to: Archery References in Language #18100“Add another string to your bow” often said here if you’re learning/learned a new skill.
in reply to: video recommendations #18094Lettin’ Loose is another good one.
in reply to: Into The Wild #18081I really enjoyed the book and view it from both sides of the argument. But I love the the way Krakauer captured that essence of escape that lurks in most of us and certainly most of us on this forum. I do not think MacCandless was “mentally ill” and think that’s a big conclusion to reach based purely on the book ❓
