in reply to: A little shooting On an April Afternoon! #49335Here is LimbLover shooting a Great Northern Osage Bushbow! I just got this bow on a trade and we were doing a little test shooting! Bow a 60in 52@28 Flatbow design great little shooter!
in reply to: Advice on new bow #49314Dittos on the Bama I own three of them, 2 D-styles and Royal Expedition 62in Reflex/Deflex longbow which is fast and smooth!Nate can build that bow from 60 to 64 inches with a any kind of wood combos you want, but as stated above unless its a selfbow or a bow from one stave of wood there will be some fiberglass! there are a lot of great bow builders out there that build customs in that price range, i would shoot as many differant bows as possible then make your decision!
in reply to: BirchBark Rover Quiver project! #21521Whats funny is sometimes those damn Black Squirrels have puny tails, the one I shot was a big boy but his tail wasn’t much! I shot at a couple of Grays that have real nice tails, if I ever get a realnice Black tail one I will just send it to you!In fact my neighbor shoots Black squirrels that invade his bird feeder, doesn’t keep them I will start asking him for the tails for you when he shoots some again!

in reply to: New bow and Quiet Back Quiver #49008Very nice, I have 4 Bamas love them all! Enjoy
in reply to: Birch Bark side quiver Project! #40941Its about 5in drain type PVC, not as thick as the indoor stuff, I have real dense target foam in the bottom of it and most of the quiver is lined with Mossy Oak polar fleece! It can hold as many a 12 arrows with points, maybe 8 w blunts, judos etc! The foam allows me to also shove my hunting arrows with broadheads in the bottom into the foam, it holds them tight, quiver makes very little noise!
in reply to: My New Northern Mist Whisper #35007Shot a Whisper and a Shelton at KAZoo liked them both! Bernie had his eye on a No Mist but opted to a a Samick SLB, gotta say I watched him shoot lot of bows and he shot the Samick the best!

in reply to: The perfect April Michigan weekend, in February #30557I can attest to his bow trials at the Kazoo show cause I watched him try out most of them and indeed he did shoot the SLB the best! His groups were real tight with that bow! Here is my new Self-bow refinish and my Asbell vest!
