I bought a hundred feathers from them a couple of years ago, she was set up at Compton! For the money the feathers were real nice, vibrant colors, I bought 5in parabolics they were a little higher backed than Truflight or gateway! I would buy from them again!

I have recycled plenty of feathers, usually I will use them if I happen to ruin maybe one feather on an arrow! If your use a very sharp razor blade you can get them off most shafts without destroying the base! i sand the base smooth & usually they are good to go!

I have 3 Bamas a Hunter Longbow, Royal Longbow and a 62in Royal Expedition and I have another in the works gonna be a 64in Expedition made with all American woods! Can’t say enough about Nate’s workmanship! The Hunter at $389 is IMO the best value for a custom longbow on the market, they are lite in the hand and very smooth for a straight limbed model! He cuts his shelf past center so they are very spine friendly as far as arrows are concerned! You can get an Expedition Hunter Reflex/deflex model for $479 plus shipping! the Expis are a longbow that shoots alot like a recurve! You can’t go wrong with either one!

I have 3 straight limbed longbows and I have a 62in Reflex/Deflex Bama Expedition and I have to say I was never a Hybrid guy but now I shoot my hybrid about 90% of the time its smooth and fast its a lobngbow but does react a lot like a recurve, you may want to try out some differant models before you decide, the Montana is a great bow for the money but as stated there are a lot of goods used longbows on many of the bow forums! You can get a Bama Hunter custom made longbow for $389 I have one its a great shooter!

I have found that a block plaid wool pattern works better than my Rivers West Advantage AP pattern that I have! For years I gun hunted in Red/Black or Green/Black plaids had deer walk right on up to me, this last season my camo matched my terrain right to a tee,had deer on more than one occasion zero in on me! This season I have a Asbell Evening Stand brown plaid that I am going to wear when the weather gets colder! I am not sold on Camo patterns! I hunt out of ground blinds so being not seen is imperative!

never had anyluck with using Duco with carbons,it works great with wood shafts, I use Fletchtite platinum when I fletch carbons even with no wraps I have hardly ever had feather come off!

I have a Bohning clamp, and have a right and a Lft wing clamp, I have fletched Lots of arrows with it, what I have found is although I use mainly left wing feathers now, my right wing clamp will put a real nice helical on an arrow! As stated just do not cross left and right wing feathers! LOL I did it once on an arrow made for some interesting arrow flight!

Wow never had a carbon do it but I am just now recovering from a wood arrow incident! Day before Good friday I was shooting 3Ds at the neighbors, was on the last target loosed the arrow it made a funny sound coming off the riser, looked at my left hand and there was a 3 inch shard of Douglas fir with a half of feather sticking out of my hand just below the knuckle in fact my knuckle took all the impact! Injury didn’t look too bad at first, however I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks and my index finger was stiff and sore until about last week last week, couldn’t even hardly hold abow not alone shoot one!Scared the daylights out of me, now I am a fanatic about checking arrows when I shoot, if they even look little suspect they go to the non-shoot bin!
