Eddie Eagle program, NRA police instructor and courses of instruction for Police, amongst many programs to educate the young and old, along with a nation wide Police training program in firearms. A legal defense fund and a insurance policy for it’s members. I would say that:They educate. The education programs do not project political preferences.
The process of the Political agenda of the NRA gives a rating to all elected officials, both Democrat and Republican in a rating system to proclaim their firearms what the support. I suggest an education of what the NRA ACTUALLY IS DOING rather than speculation.:)

Hey carbon I’ve seen Hawks catch and carry Squirels. I’ve seen them get bitten and have to drop the large Fox squirrel.Birds of Prey, exactly.

Nope, was not inferred! Definitely not Centaur, Your not in the catagory this thread defines. If I saw you on Missionary Ridge with a trsdbow on a 4 wheeler, you would be the first and I would be dis-heartend. Federal Land ATV use is my concern. I drive 1,000 miles to the wilderness area of the Wiminuche and have these Slobs running the roads with compounds and muzzleloaders onboard. I see them in Illegal areas running the Elk out, and disturbing me while I TRY TO SLEEP AT NIGHT RUNNING THE ROADS. I want them gone! State refuges have already outlawed them my state. They represent the Slobs code of hunting which is: Rape and Plunder the wildlife and the habitat just to achieve the kill. They do it by any means. Hard to weed these out unless LEO”s catch them. Once caught they should go to jail! Thieves they are! to you and to the resources. Thank you for your service! We all walk free due to you and Dave, and many others. The sacrificial blood of those who never returned= Respect, honor!:)

Backcountry org. has my money in the mail! Amen Gentlemen and thank you for the replies! I want them all gone from National Forests! They are ruining the Hunting and the landscape. They should only allow horses or mules for transportation in and out. I’ll stick to my Beaner boots.

Yes, to much DEET is toxic! Viet Nam veterans can attest to this.

The string rifle thing is subjective but, the best thing to do is lobby your local reps and email the NRA ref your feelings. Nugent is a string rifle proponet and sits on the NRA board. I feel he does this because he really believes it is a legitimate hunting tool. Heres where it goes wrong for me. The game and fish agencies include its use in Archery season! This is wrong!!!! If they feel it should be used as a hunting device, they should have a season exclusive/certified disabilty users or, have a draw only for the disabled hunters. I personally like the draw if it has to be included.String rifles (crossbows) are not Bows! Bows must be drawn with one hand while the other holds it, simultanous with the shot. Bottom line, they are not a Bow! You can lay in the woods under a camo covering and just raise up and shoot with little movement (not drawn)to kill animals. They should not be included in archery catagories!:)

I used to hunt Marijuana Growers in the Jungles of Arkansas years ago and have been down the seed tick route!
Turn your pants inside out and spray them with off or whatever you choose to use which contains DEET or the other derivatives. Deet works well and you can read the back of the can for it’s percentage of content in your can. Spray bottles usually have a higher content. Now that your pants are sprayed let them dry before you put them on. Coat your lower legs with Skin so Soft by Avon. Sorry it does have an odor but I would rather stay with the wind in my face than eaten by chiggs and ticks. This stuff helps with the little critters immensely. Now spray your boots before you put them on, and the tops of socks. Your pants should be dry now, so put them on, then your boots. Now for the radical thing I used to do while laying in wait for the bad guys in the brush. Wear Panty hose! Yes, I said panty hose. Ha, sounds weird right? Well I did it and it helped. I just told my wife if I get killed, make sure they know why I was wearing them lol! Naw, believe me I was not the only one.
Sulpher tabs and vineger? Well I tried that too along with Garlic. I believe that the Garlic helped the most as I drank a lot of water while in the woods during late Sept-Oct which causes you to sweat and excretes the Garlic from your pores. From the minimum to the radical, you have my antedote for those little critters which like to bite and suck your blood, Dang things!:)

Hey Patrick how are ya? Bet these fellas took the time to make sure the arrow was spined right for thier Bow. This as you already know will enhance the flight characteristics with the minium amount of stabilazation on the rear. 🙂

Not shooting your rig to test the broadhead flight is like not sighting in your rifle. It must be done as part of the tuning process for the Hunter, compound or not.
