Ibu. usually works for me. A couple years back, I threw my back out right before bow season. I used one of those back wraps that fasten in front with velcro. Another thing I have used is those disposable heat wraps you can buy at drug stores. They offer support plus heat on the back. I’ve used them in bitter cold weather, just for the heat

Unique shape on that one Pothunter. Can’t say I’ve seen it before. Yeah I need to get a prefilter for the bottles. Don’t enjoy floaties, lol. I used pills for years, but besides the taste I hated waiting 20+ minutes for them to work. By then the water is warm:evil:

You have too many elk? Where do I sign up?
I know what you mean about not wanting to shoot the coyotes and wolfs because you don’t want to eat them. Years ago, I was bear hunting in the U.P. of MI when a pack of coyotes came upon me. Besides my bow, I had a .44 in a shoulder holster. Even after dropping one and shooting at others, they continued to circle me and try to get behind me. Luckily two other hunters with rifles happened along and shot two more. I have never trusted coyotes since then and will try for them when opportunity presents itself. I always think “What would have happened if one of my daughters walked into that pack?” I make exceptions for the “Don’t kill if not going to eat” phylosophy my father taught me

Thats what I used since last year. It works great, but I figuyred this is suppose to clear more out of the water and it only weighs about as much as the filter in my bottle. Besides, I couldn’t pass up that price

For out west hunts, we usually try to get at least 4 guys to go in ordedr to split the cost. If you buy your license earlier in the year, you can even it out more. Then we sleep in my cabin tent for a camp. For other states, I have a lot of friends I have made through the years on line and get invites to hunt their places. There are a lot of great people out there:P

What T Downing said:D After you put water into your bottle, you turn on the Steri-Pen and put the end into the bottle. When the light turns green, your water is safe to drink. It uses UV light to kill everything and doesn’t alter the taste. I’ve wanted one, but they usually go for $145

Crap, I hope not. I was just looking at them at 3Rivers last week and it didn’t say anything there

Dang, thats too bad that it got away. I would say that set up you now have should work good. If you miss though it may be a bear to find

lol, I just read an article where it talks about how the human mind sometimes makes us not notice things when they are right in front of us
