I would attend one of Rick Welch seminiars,if you want someone to get you on the right track to shooting effectivly. He goes one on one, with students and leaves no stone uncovered to help you shoot to your maximum potential!
Only hear positive things about Rick, and his school. It may be the best money you have ever spent on yourself!Good Luck!
in reply to: Tooth Brush Rest #29450Copy that Rip!Bear Archery had a similiar Bristle Rest, back in the 60-70’s,but the Bristles came off of the Rest Straight ,instead of a 45 degree angle.Im very impressed with the flight, and accuracy of this, and should last prit near forever! Good Stuff!
in reply to: Tooth Brush Rest #28644David as a follow up.I completed the rest, and after checking for clearence of the Feathers, im happy to report that the Fletches are clearing the rest! They are however, lightly brushing the top of the Strike Pad,but nothing severe, and was to be expected,on my part.I will say, they come out of the Bow,like Lasers, and are grouping more consistant for me.Here is the First shots after completion of the rest at 31 yards. Im happy with the time it took to make it! Good Hunting!
in reply to: Tooth Brush Rest #23921Hi David! Im not entirely sure if one could attain zero contact with the Fletchings on this rest or not.I think that would depend on how closely matched the Spine of the Arrows are? A overly Stiff Arrow, may have some contact issues? Im wondering if there would be enough Paradox to swing the Fletching Up and Out of the way? I will Lip Stick test one, as soon as I get one made up, and report back.

in reply to: Custom String Keeper's? #46272Well, that did not work very well.If you go to TG and visit Manufactures Classifieds, they have them there.
in reply to: Custom String Keeper's? #46267Nothing special, compared to factory manufactured one’s! Just want to support the Tradesman, that want to make them, and offer them for sale. For example.
