Hi All. The folks at Membergate have updated our site and I never know what that means exactly. 😆

One thing I noticed right away is that you can roll over a member’s picture or name and see their profile in TradSpace™ if they have one. That is a little used area on our site that would be fun to develop. Tell a little about yourself, upload some pictures, find and link to friends on this site, etc. Check it out by putting your cursor over my picture. If you don’t have a TradSpace™ profile it is easy to set up and instructions are available. I am not one to “collect” as many friends as I can, but I’d always welcome friends here. 😀

If you find anything else that changed on the site with this upgrade please share. And, as always, if you have any questions about the site, don’t hesitate to ask.

Ahhh, so this is the source of the weird message that pops up everytime I come here! It says something to the effect of this webpage contains HTML content that is not secure and could compromise the security of the whole web browser!:?

It really doesnt bother me, I just wont be banking while chating at the same time!

Does anyone else have this message?

Probably not my computer seems to overreact to everything, I suppose that is a good thing?

Greatree — Yep, I get it too, in the form of “Do you want to allow only the stuff we think is OK,” or somesuch. Also, Robin, I’ve noticed that where before the sign-in would remember my name and password, it no longer does so that I have to type it all out … using energy i could be using to type annoying posts! dave 😛

Hi guys. I’m traveling so I didn’t see this sooner. I don’t get an error message so I will have to ask one of you to send a copy of the message to my email webmaster@tradbow.com so I can get with support. I will also ask them about it not remembering you anymore. Please let me know of any other bothersome issues and I’ll submit them all at once, probably on Monday.

Why does this stuff always happen when I am away? 🙄

Long day on several airplanes but we are in Kalamazoo now and it’s happy hour. Later! 😀

Yep, I get the “you are about to visit a non-secure” website pop-up too, BUT my log-in info is retained. Go figure.

The thing I see different is that it automatically subscribes me to the thread unless you check “no” every time I post. I don’t need no stinking email….

I have mine set up so that I get an email only when a new thread is started. I did that a long time ago, but it just started working again after a long hiatus. I like the way that works.

The error message should be fixed now.

The login will likely require you to enter your password every time now. This is for your security, or so they tell me. 😀 Remember, this software was designed for paying members and some of the things they have don’t make sense for free members, but I can’t change how it works.

Anyone that would like to change their user name to something shorter or easier to type can do that pretty easily. On the Home page, left column under Resources you’ll see “Your Account”. Click that and follow the links to change your account. You will probably have to use your signon and password to get there, but then you can change your user name and password. If you like, you can email me to change it.

No more security message, AND I still don’t have to enter my log-in info…perfect! (UNLESS somebody sneaks up to my work pc and accesses my account). It’ll be easy to detect the imposter though due to the well thought out posts and lack of sarcasm. 😀

Hey Robin, Blessings! The biggest change I would appreciate would be, a manage attachments and browser to pictures.:)

dido what Hiram said. Photobucket is a pain! It’d be so nice to be able to browse your files and upload a pic direct to here.
